Making purchases

In MYOB Accounting, purchases are transactions that indicate that you bought items or services from a supplier. You can choose from four purchase layouts:

• Item purchases record the purchase of both stock and non-stock items entered in the Items List window.

• Service purchases record the purchase of services and other non-stock goods.

• Professional purchases record the purchase of services and other non-stock goods, as well as the dates each individual service or item was purchased.

• Miscellaneous purchases are for purchases that don't require a printed purchase order.

• Entering purchases

• Entering purchases (Bank Register)

• Receiving stock

• Printing purchases

• Emailing a report or a single form

• Processing purchases paid with a company credit or debit card

• Using recurring transactions

• Finding purchases

• Reviewing purchase activity

• Changing, deleting and reversing purchases
